1. Introduction

ElevatorZip LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, ElevatorZip Field ("the App"). A user account is required to access the App. ElevatorZip Field is designed for elevator professionals, including field mechanics and office staff.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide

When you use ElevatorZip Field, we collect your phone number, which is used solely to authenticate your identity via SMS.

b. Authentication

We use a phone number and one-time PIN (OTP) delivered via SMS for authentication. No passwords are created or stored. The OTP is temporary and expires after use.

c. Automatically Collected Data

We automatically collect certain technical data to operate and improve the App, including:

• Device type and operating system version
• App usage statistics
• Crash reports and performance data

d. Location Data (Optional, Temporary)

The App includes an optional "Use my current location" feature to assist with address autocomplete when entering building information. If you use this feature:

• GPS coordinates are held in memory only and are not stored by ElevatorZip
• Only the address text you select from the autocomplete suggestions is saved
• You may decline location access at any time via your device settings

e. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the Google Maps / Google Places API to provide address search and autocomplete functionality. Google's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate users and provide secure access to the App
• Enable core App functionality for elevator field professionals
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues
• Monitor App performance and improve reliability
• Communicate with users regarding App issues or important updates

4. Internal Sharing Within Your Organization

Information entered in the App is visible to other authorized users within your organization based on roles and permissions set by your administrator. ElevatorZip does not publish your organization's data to public-facing web pages. Visibility is limited to verified users in your organization's account.

5. Data Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted third-party vendors solely as necessary to provide the Service, including:

• SMS delivery providers — to send one-time authentication PINs to your phone number
• Google Maps / Places API — to support address search and autocomplete

These vendors are contractually required to use your data only for the purposes of providing services to ElevatorZip.

6. Data Security

ElevatorZip implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your device protected and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Update or correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, updates will be posted within the App or otherwise made available to users. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
